EDGE Interview: The Reeducation of 'Fun Size' Adult Model Milo Miles

Timothy Rawles READ TIME: 3 MIN.

"I love the work that I do, I'm very passionate about it," adult content creator Milo Miles tells EDGE. "I think that translates on camera and that keeps me motivated to constantly be making new and original content."

Some people might ask why adult sex apps like JustFor.Fans (JFF) are so popular when you can get similar content for free just by using keywords on Google. The answer is people like Milo, who give credence to the adage, "It's only work if you'd rather be doing something else."

Milo is perfectly happy where he is and has a popular JustFor.Fans page with over 580 followers. He considers himself a "fun size boy," standing at 5'4", and 120-pounds. He just celebrated his 30th birthday.

Originally from Columbia, Milo moved to Canada when he was young and now resides in Toronto, where he creates adult gay content for a living. Based on his interests, it's a profession that suits him.

"I'm gay, I love to travel and visiting clothing-optional beaches," he says. "I also just love to have sex, and connecting with new and interesting people."

As many creators have stated before, they love uploading their content to JFF over other subscription sites because the company, run by adult content creators themselves, makes their models a priority.

"Just For Fans is more welcoming, diverse, and accepting of different kinks, fetishes, and communities," he says. "There's more freedom of expression, which allows creativity to flourish."

However, there is another benefit. Creators can go on to bigger things, perhaps signing with a major studio. Milo signed with Carnal+ about two years ago, not long after his industry debut. "I am literally having the time of my life," he says.

So, what goes into preparing for an online gay sex scene? For Milo it's about staying healthy, he says; that's the toughest part.

"Normally, I can just eat what I want whenever I want, but I'm also lactose intolerant so in the lead up to filming a scene, I'm a bit more careful about the food I eat."

The truth is, Milo has always been someone who is well-prepared. He's intelligent and a critical thinker. He majored in political science for his undergrad degree, and public policy for his master's. But his life in academia wouldn't lead him to a cubicle – even though after he graduated he held an elected office on a local education board, serving as the youngest and only openly gay politician in the city.

"College was when I was able to start embracing my sexuality and come to terms with what I wanted to do career-wise – what I thought was important, how I wanted to position myself, the types of people I wanted to surround myself with," he says. "And it wasn't until I finished grad school that I fully embraced my identity.

"They say do what you love, and if you're good at something, monetize it. So that's why I decided to get into making adult content. I feel free, passionate about sex, and see it as a form of expression, connection, and love."

His bucket list of collabs includes fellow adult creators Sam Ledger and HungSkater. "I'm a huge fan of their work, and it would be awesome to film with them someday."

Until that day comes, he is proud of what he's already offering on JFF. He feels it's authentic and genuine to who he is and what he loves about sex.

"I have a broad spectrum of things I'm into sexually, and you'll see that on my page," he says. He's into a variety of things, all included in your monthly subscription. "I also have a huge fetish for tighty whities, so you'll see a lot of those on there."

The volume of creators on JFF is enormous. That means the competition is vast, but Milo thinks he's found the secret to being successful, specifically when it comes to his account: Just have fun.

"I love the work that I do. I'm very passionate about it," he says. "I think that translates on camera, and that keeps me motivated to constantly be making new and original content. I think being consistent with posting content goes a long way at maintaining an audience."
