LA Pride Announces Latino Carnivale 2015 Lineup

LA Pride's signature Music & Arts Festival will see the return of the massively successful festival party, Fox Pride Latino Carnivale Presented by LA Pride & Club Papi. The high-energy, non-stop party celebrating Latino heritage and the TLGB community will feature a dynamic list of Latin powerhouse performers along with top club DJ's from around Southern California. Mexican singing sensation, and this year's Latino Carnivale headliner, Ana Barbara, will make her LA PRIDE debut along with other weekend highlights including Becky G, Crystal Waters, Thea Austin, power vocalist Carmen Rios, 5Senti2, Sonora Tropicana, DJ Kidd Madonny and a special appearance by Chiquis. Becky G will also perform at Latino Carnivale and the LA Pride/Delta Air Lines Main Stage. The Latino Carnivale lineup will add to LA Pride's already stellar list of main stage performers including Kesha, 5th Harmony, Wilson Phillips, Tinashe, Eden xo, Tamar Braxton and Ty Herndon.


LA Pride and Club Papi are excited to bring Mexican sensation and Hispanic music icon Ana Barbara to the stage on Sunday Night! Ana Barbara, is one of Mexico's top powerhouse singer/songwriters with her hits "Los Busque," "Fruta Prohibida," "Quise Olvidar" and "Dos Abrazos" which was featured in Sharon Stone's "Border Run." Her Latin Grammy win was for her album in the 'Best Grupero' category in which she received a nomination for an American Grammy.

Becky G makes her Pride debut on Sunday with performances on both the Main stage and the Fox Pride Latino Carnivale Stage presented by LA PRIDE & Club Papi. Becky G is an 18-year-old singer, Covergirl's youngest ambassador and has won several awards including multiple Disney Music Awards for "The Best New Artist" in 2014, as well as both the "You're So Fancy" and "Stuck In Our Heads" awards in 2015. Becky G was named one of TIME Magazine's "Most Influential Teens of 2014" as well as one of Billboard Magazine's 21 Under 21 (2014) Music's Hottest Young Stars. Becky's smash hit single "Shower" has over 125 million views on YouTube and was one of People Magazine's 2014 Top 10 Songs of the summer. She has also scored her first #1 single "Can't Get Enough" feat. Pitbull on Latin Billboard Charts. Becky is currently in the studio finishing her debut album due out later this year.

On Saturday night, FOX Pride Latino Carnivale Presented by LA Pride & Club Papi goes retro Diva with performances by Crystal Waters and Thea Austin. Waters, a singer and songwriter known for her massive hit "100% Pure Love" along with Top 40 hit "Say... If You Feel Alright" will get the crowds dancing. A double dose of Diva, Thea Austin will also perform at the Latin non-stop party on Saturday with her 90s anthem "Rhythm Is A Dancer."

"We're really excited about the lineup we have slated for this year's FOX Pride Latino Carnivale Presented by LA Pride & Club Papi," said Club Papi's Jamie Awad. "Latino Carnival is a celebration of the Latin TLGB community and we plan to make sure to keep that celebration loud and thumping throughout the weekend with our list of stellar performers and entertainers."

The lineup of musicians will also include a string of Latin acts including power vocalist Carmen Rios known for her hits "Que Me Vas a Dar" and "Que Nadie Sepa Mi Sufrir" along with the L.A-based pop sensation group 5Senti2 and their Spanish pop hit "Sera Porque te Amo" along with "No Controles."

Also making a very special appearance is Chiquis Rivera, of the reality show "Chiquis n' Control" and daughter of the late Mexican Singer, Jenni Rivera. Chiquis will be doing an exclusive VIP meet and greet on Saturday and will be giving away tickets to her big tribute show to her mother in Long Beach July 2.

A special performance from Sonora Tropicana, known as a taste of Columbian Cumbia with Mexican Flavor! They are considered as the best Columbian Cumbia and are known for their hit single "El Gran Baron" which tackles the subject of homosexuality head on! Get ready to dance!

The West Coast's top DJ's join the amazing Papi & Mami Dancers for lots of great music and delicious eye candy throughout the weekend. The weekend's DJ lineup will also include DJ Kidd Madonny from Miami who is regularly spinning at some of the largest dance parties in the U.S.
