Girls That Roam Present Go Roam Women's Travel Mixer

On Friday, February 20, at Dashe Cellars in Oakland, African safari expert Jody Cole, owner and tour guide of Wild Rainbow African Safaris, will guide women on how to go on safari at the first Go Roam women's travel mixer.

Ever dreamed of Africa? Learn about going on safari in Africa with the continent's only American woman to obtain the second highest level of certification from the Field Guides Association of Southern Africa to lead African safaris. Imagine seeing gorillas, giraffes, elephants, hippos, lions, monkeys, tigers and more in Africa.

Cole has been leading safaris through Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, and Zimbawe for a decade. She has earned the dubious honor of being Africa's only American woman to obtain the second highest level of certification from the Field Guides Association of Southern Africa to lead African safaris.

Go Roam is a new women's travel mixer highlighting women in travel and bringing women interested in exploring the world together in a fun environment.

Guests will enjoy listening to Jody regaling them with tales of Africa and hanging out with globetrotting women like themselves, while munching on complementary appetizers, tasting wine, listening to music and winning a prize. Wine tastings of Dashe Cellars wines will be $10 and wine by the glass will be $9.
