Harry Potter Gets Boozy at Hudson Hotel

Broadway is buzzing in anticipation of tonight's opening of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child." The much-anticipated hit has been sold out since it opened in London last year.

The story picks up with a 37-year-old Harry, which means he's of drinking age, and New York City's famed Hudson Hotel is capitalizing on the muggle momentum with some innovative cocktails in its Library Bar.

The venue is as cozy as the Gryffindor Common Room and outfitted with books curated by The Assouline Book Collection. Bring your ticket stubs for 25 percent off your drinks. Here's a teaser of what you can expect:

The Gryffindor
Lillet Rose (1.5 oz), Campari (.5 oz), Grapefruit (splash) & Club Soda (over ice in a Collins Glass)
Add the Lillet Rose and Campari into a Collins glass. Add Ice. Drop in a splash over Grapefruit and splash of Club Soda. Garnish with a large grapefruit wedge.

The Hufflepuff
Clement Pure Sugar Cane Syrup (1 tbsp), Ginger Beer (1 oz) & Cava (4 oz)
In a wine glass with ice, pour the Clement Pure Sugar Cane Syrup, then the Cava. Top with Ginger beer. Garnish with an Orange wedge and add a straw.

The Ravenclaw
House Bourbon (1 oz), Pimm's (.05 oz) & Splash Coke (over ice in rocks glass)
In a rocks glass, add the ice, Bourbon and Pimms. Include a splash of coke for color and garnish with a blackberry.

The Slytherin
Hendrick's Gin (2 oz), Cucumber Juice (1 oz), St. Germain (.25 oz), Simple Syrup (.25 oz) & Lemon Juice (.5 oz)
Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a cucumber slice.
