Caitlyn Jenner is down but not out when it comes to politics. After she couldn't believe the results of California's recall gubernatorial election, which saw Gov. Gavin Newsom win, she is now changing her tune.

Appearing on "The View" as a guest host, Jenner said her failed attempt to become governor was "one of the most rewarding experiences" of her life, The Wrap reported.

In fact, she is not ruling out the possibility of another run for office with her "socially progressive" views, which don't exactly match up with the views of her famous family members.

"Yes. I want to stay involved. It really opened my eyes to political life," Jenner told "The View" panelists about running again. "It opened my eyes, but there is other things I'd like to do. One is try to get the Republican party to be more inclusive."

Digging deeper, "View" host Joy Behar asked if she was more unsettled by the insurrection at the Capitol more than immigration issues. Jenner hesitated, then answered "it wasn't right."

"We can't have that in our country. We need to bring people together is what we need to do," said Jenner, and she doesn't want to be "put into a box" based on her political beliefs.

"The Republican party needs to change, and to be honest with you, I am the poster child for change," Jenner added.
