Watch: 'American Horror Story' Season 10 Cast Revealed: Macaulay Culkin, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters & More

Wednesday February 26, 2020

Producer Ryan Murphy took to Instagram Wednesday to reveal the cast for "American Horror Story" Season 10, which includes a number of familiar faces as well as some newcomers like Macaulay Culkin.

Murphy, who co-created the long-running FX anthology series, shared two videos that shows a gloomy beach while the song "Dead of Night" by queer country singer Orville Peck plays. The names of the Season 10 cast pop up throughout the clips.

Both Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are returning to the show after — for the first time ever — not appearing on Season 9 ("AHS: 1984") last year. Additional actors coming back to "AHS" include Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross and Adina Porter.

Most notably, however, is Culkin, perhaps his most profile role in some time.

Details about the upcoming 10th season are scarce. The cast roles nor the theme of the season have been announced but "AHS" was recently renewed for three more seasons by FX. Murphy also spoke about possible future seasons of "AHS" in November 2019, telling Deadline that he usually comes up with the themes for the seasons around Halloween. He noted that he's "working on an idea for Season 10 that I think people will love because it's about reuniting fan-favorite actors to come back — because it might be the last season."

"It's the last season we have contracted. So, I've been quietly reaching out to various people," he added. "Some people I haven't reached out to yet because I was like 'Do I have a role for them?' So far, everybody I reached out to said 'Yes', so that's been great."

It's unclear if Murphy will change plans now that "AHS" has been renewed for three more seasons.
