Singer Olly Alexander had a groundbreaking acting debut starring as Ritchie Tozer in the HBO Max AIDS miniseries "It's a Sin." Now the Years & Years frontman says he is ready for his next acting role, and is waiting for the right part, preferably as a gay superhero.

Speaking with Will Manning of U.K.'s The Official Big Top 40, Alexander shared that he is absolutely open to acting again, and he's been "sent a few scripts.

"I still want to have magic powers in something, or you know play like a really messed up, gay superhero or something," he told Manning. "I guess we'll just wait and see."

Until that day comes, Alexander has plenty of music accomplishments to focus on. On the show, Alexander celebrated his new song, "Starstruck," which entered the Top 10.
