Did Kris Jenner hit social media influencer Ava Louise with a "cease and desist" letter over her claims that Kanye West and Jeffree Star hooked up?

"No more than 24 hours after Louise posted about the alleged affair, Louise said her manager received a cease and desist letter from Jenner Communications - Kris Jenner's company," writes the Daily Mail.

"The letter, seen by DailyMail.com, states Louise should stop making allegations against Kim Kardashian and Kanye or she could face 'legal sanctions,' advising her to 'give this very important matter the utmost attention.'"

But the story took a crazy twist on Tuesday when Jenner told TMZ she has no idea who Louise is.

"Apparently, Ava's all about the land of make-believe, because a rep for Kris tells us the cease and desist letter is totally made up, writes TMZ.

The spokesperson continued: "We have zero clue who this person is and have not yet taken legal action. However, if she continues to spread lie after lie and a fake letter in a desperate cry for public attention, which she has admitted on record that she's seeking, then we will have no choice but to take legal action on principle. Making up fake stories in an effort to monetize and get attention which has a direct effect on people's lives is not OK. Perhaps she should spend that time instead seeking the help that she clearly needs to deal with her issues."

The unverified rumor took fire with even Star initially playing along with it by posting a photo of himself with the caption 'Ready for Sunday Service' — referring to West's choir church sessions. But on Thursday he denied any truth to Louise's allegations. "I'm single ... I'm not sleeping with anyone," he said in a YouTube posting. "This is so weird ... this is so stupid. Let me just say this one time ... I like very tall men.

"I guess some girl made up a whole lie on TikTok and it went viral, where she insinuates Kanye and Kim are getting a divorce because a big male beauty influencer is sleeping with him. Me and Kanye have never hung out, and this whole thing is really funny."

Then Louise admitted she "made this entire scandal up [and] there's literally not one bit of truth to anything [she had] said," writes a report in Seventeen Magazine. "She still fooled the internet for a hot second. But that drama is actually one of her tamer TikToks, if you can believe that."

Louise's social media career has not been without drama. "Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the college student licked a toilet seat as part of an ill-conceived viral challenge. Around the same time, an old song she recorded went viral on TikTok, further catapulting Louise to influencer status," wrote a report on her on the website ITK.com.

One example was last March's stunt she posted called a "Coronavirus Challenge" after uploading a video of herself licking a toilet set on an airplane. She did it to bring attention to her song, "Skinny Legend Album."

"I did the whole toilet-licking stunt, one, because f*** boomers and I don't take this virus seriously," Louise told Insider. "Two, as strategic marketing, so people would be like 'Who the h*** is Ava Louise?' and connect me to that song."

She also added little concern for those most vulnerable to COVID-19, even those she is related to. "I don't like my grandparents and I don't have a relationship with them so I don't give a s*** what happens to them," she also said. "Very impressionable older people who don't understand meme culture or trolling latched onto this."

Jenner's concerns about the rumor likely come from reports that daughter Kim was troubled by the report. "This week it was reported that Kim has been left 'humiliated' over rumours of her former 'friend' Star having an 'affair' with her husband," adds the Daily Mail. "Kim is humiliated by everything with Jeffree and the divorce as a whole," a source told the website.
